Orange County is home to more than 3,000,000 diverse people who enjoy the beautiful weather, plentiful recreational opportunities, cultural venues and robust employment opportunities. "The OC" is located in the heart of Southern California with Los Angeles County to the north, San Diego County to the south and Riverside and San Bernardino Counties to the east. There are currently 34 cities within the county--each with their own unique character. Orange County is the second largest county in California, trailing only Los Angeles and surpassing San Diego; and the fifth largest county in the nation.

Newcomers to the county look forward to living in Southern California, enjoying the lifestyle they've long imagined through movies and television shows. Orange County's weather is the envy of the rest of the nation with temperatures ranging from 50-70 degrees year round. Miles of beaches and local mountains compete for residents' leisure time along with a multitude of cultural offerings including museums, art galleries and performing art theaters. In fact, Orange County is one of the few places where you can surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon and catch a Broadway play in the evening.

Knott's Berry Farm, Angel Stadium home to the 2003 World Champion Angels, the Arrowhead Pond home to the Mighty Ducks hockey team and the Orange County Performing Arts Center are other popular attractions for both residents and tourists.

Orange County also enjoys a diverse economy with employment well distributed among all business sectors. The county consistently maintains one of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation. Employment opportunities range from high-technology and the medical professions to the service and tourist trades, plus nearly everything in between. Small business owners also find Orange County a friendly match to their entrepreneurial spirit.
