Police Cadet
A police cadet is a non-sworn position within the police department. A police cadet can explore the various facets of a law enforcement career, while pursuing a college education. Cadets are afforded the opportunity to work in all divisions of the police department from Patrol and Investigations, to Administration and Records. Cadets assist the patrol division with equipment needs, conduct clerical
duties, answer phones and assist customers at the front counter.
